National Housing Authority (NHA)

The NHA was established on April 7, 1960 by an Act of the National Legislature as the Agency of the Government of Liberia responsible for housing services delivery. Following Liberia’s 14 years of civil war, the entity was hit significantly when its pre-war investment into social housing declined from 1,701 housing units plus 600 serviced plots valued at US$ 38,072,177.00 to a post war investment of 381 housing units valued at US$8,644,213.38.
