Monrovia, Liberia – The National Housing Authority (NHA), through its Performance Management and Compliance System (PMCS) Strategic Team, submitted and conducted a comprehensive review of its 1st and 2nd Quarters Performance Report with the Cabinet Secretariat PMC Team.
The evidence-based review exercise aimed to evaluate institutional efficiency, ensure operational compliance, and measure target deliverables against actions taken across all key departments, was done on Thursday, the 10th of September 2026.
The internal review process serves as a key benchmark for assessing the authority’s operational trajectory and tracking performance across four primary objectives:
1. Strategic Alignment: Verifying and aligning the NHA’s 5-Year Strategic Plan with the Government of Liberia’s broader national development goals under the ARREST Agenda for Inclusive Development (AAID).
2. Process Review: Evaluating the end-to-end implementation process of planned institutional programs to identify operational bottlenecks, process efficiencies, and administrative strengths.
3. Activity-to-Action Matching: Rigorously matching all scheduled activities outlined in the annual work plan against actual, documented actions taken during the first two quarters.
4. Progress Scoring: Assigning quantitative and qualitative performance scores to each planned activity to measure achievement rates and determine targets for the upcoming quarters.
This performance exercise underscores the NHA’s commitment to evidence-based management, transparency, and results-oriented public service. By systematically comparing planned commitments against documented outcomes, the NHA ensures that resources are effectively leveraged to address Liberia’s housing requirements.
”Accountability is at the core of our institutional reform. This review allows us to look critically at our commitments, verify our outputs against the AAID framework, and ensure that every action taken directly contributes to delivering dignified, affordable housing to the people of Liberia.”
